The practice was formed in 1978 and is solely owned and run by John Rowan.

Although the mainstay of the practice is the design and specification for alterations and refurbishment of houses, many being listed, John is also involved with Offices, Shops, Commercial premises and specialises in Cold Storage Premises.

We are dedicated to providing the best possible design solutions for our clients and obtaining  approvals for Planning, Listed Building Consent and approval under the Building Regulations.

We can also recommend suitable contractors to carry out the work to the highest standards.

John is also a partner with  Lincolnshire Surveys. This partnership was formed with Michael Starsmore to provide in-house Land and Topographical Surveys. This service has expanded as a consultancy for local and national clients.

John is also involved as a Surveyor for the “English House Survey”, a survey carried out on behalf of the Governments Communities and Local Government Department.
